How is the process of ‘digitalising’ the automotive customer sales and aftersales journey progressing?
In this webinar, we gave an overview based on our latest research, including an update of our ongoing monitoring of OEM transactional online sales channels for new cars across the main European markets, demonstrating the growing focus of car manufacturers on sales platforms, and also provided a brief look at the dealer and third-party landscape. We identified a number of best practice examples across the major European markets and the range of players covering both the sales and aftersales customer journeys. Bringing these together, we discussed what an ‘optimally digitalised’ customer journey might look like, and what the gaps are to achieving it. We closed by looking at the wider strategic implications of the ‘digitalisation’ trend for players within the sector.
