May 2024 Digital services and connected car business models webinar

What can third-party connected car data providers tell us about the emerging business model landscape?

As a precursor to work later in the year on connected car business models, we presented a brief update and overview of the ICDP view on the implications of connected car services, drawn from our work on private and fleet customer needs, aftersales, and regulation. This was followed by a guest presentation by Katharina Roecker, manager of strategic projects and customer development at High Mobility, an independent third-party connected car data aggregation platform that supports the fleet and retail channels with a single source of multi-OEM brand data, on how fleet managers and customers are learning how to derive value from connected car data.

Katharina Roecker, Manager of Strategic Projects and Customer Development at High Mobility, specialises in crafting sustainable and innovative data products while streamlining operational processes. With a focus on guiding customers through their connected car journey, Katharina drew from extensive experience collaborating on innovation projects with automotive manufacturers and suppliers globally. High Mobility, an open vehicle data marketplace, offers personalised data from numerous manufacturers (currently 20 OEMs) through a unified API and streamlined business interface..

Ben’s presentation with notes is available below, and Katharina’s as a separate download. The video recording is also available.
